The International Shotokan Shobukan Karate Association (ISSKA) is a non-profit traditional Shotokai Karate organization dedicated to providing low-cost, high-quality instruction in traditional Shotokai Karate. Founded in 2019 by Sensei T. Srivijayakumar, ISSKA aims to spread the unique, innovative, and realistic style of Shotokai throughout Switzerland.
In 2021, ISSKA received membership from the International Shotokan Shobukan Karate Association. This prestigious membership was granted by Kancho Masaya Kohama, a 9th Dan Black Belt and World Chief of ISSKA WHQ in Japan. Following this recognition, ISSKA has continued to represent the Japan branch in Switzerland, furthering its mission to promote traditional Shotokai Karate across the country.
After receiving membership from the International Shotokan Shobukan Karate Association, Japan, Sensei T. Srivijayakumar was awarded the title of Shihan and achieved the rank of Black Belt 7th DAN.
